POSTPONED

AB Tech Main Bldg: 340 Victoria Rd.

Asheville, NC 28801

5:30-6:30 pm

We are actively building a movement for All Women; especially for and within our BIPOC Communities.

Come hear about the growing ecosystem for girls and women entering skilled trades careers.
Entering high paying trades careers involves ALL stakeholders! It takes educators, investors, community builders, government officials, nonprofits, and for profits. We are seeking mentors, financial supporters and cheerleaders to help this movement take off.

Please come learn how to champion the local ecosystem that guides women into the skilled trades industries.

Thursday Monthly Meetup

(Location Changes Monthly)

Next Meeting: Jan 2, 2025 6-8 pm

Post Helene we have decided to gather again to just connect. We will bring back speakers in Jan. For now, plan to join us to share stories and resources. Note the change in location due too Asheville’s water supply.

Dress for weather it’s an indoor outdoor space.

This is an intergenerational group learning from those who came before, and lifting up women new in the community. This group is inclusive of any who identify as female or non-binary.

If you work (or worked) in the trades, including but not limited to, plumbers, electricians, contractors, people in staging/live events, brewing, home inspectors, agriculture, handy women, or other, we want to meet you.

This is a space to learn of each other, be able to pass work to each other, and most of all find support from one another. Come and join the conversation.

Location: Wild Wing Cafe, 65 Long Shoals Road, Arden

How to find us: We have a space that we are told is inside and outside so dress for the weather.
